Course Description:
Mindfulness, Meditation and Children is an introductory level course designed for mental health professionals which include LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs. Mindfulness and meditation with children is an important tool that is underutilized. Attendees will walk away understanding the difference between mindfulness and meditation as well as why it's important for children, and how to utilize and apply the provided scripts for immediate use.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Dr. Julie Lee PhD, LMFT, is the Co-Founder & Executive Clinical Director and Czarina Salazar Navarro is an Associate MFT at The Connection. Dr. Julie specializes in working with the early childhood population, trauma, and provides EMDR. Czarina specializes in multicultural, familial, and body image issues for adolescents/adults along with other areas of experience and interest.
