Getting to the other side of 3000!
Welcome to the 3000 Hour Club!
The goal and mission of OC CAMFT’s 3000 Hour Club is to help pre-licensed individuals (MFT/LPCC/LCSW students, trainees, and pre-licensed associates) feel supported during their journey in obtaining 3000 hours toward licensure. We are here to offer professional and personal support through monthly events where individuals who are students, trainees and associates can meet for networking, camaraderie, and to learn something new about clinical topics!
The OC CAMFT Board contains board members that hold positions to represent you and your needs as you complete your graduate school education and associate experience.
Here are some of the benefits to attending our 3000 Hour Club events and joining OC CAMFT:
- Networking – referrals; announcements regarding sites hiring trainees or associates (remember to bring any information about a site and your business card!)
- Information – speakers’ topics of interest; one workshop hour towards licensure (pending supervisor approval); gain clinical knowledge to assist your clients in treatment; learn about supervision and how to get the most out of the experience
- Connection– meet new people; hear about others’ experiences toward licensure (do’s and don’ts!), feel supported and encouraged by other pre-licensed individuals who share your professional challenges and understand what it’s like to be working towards 3000 hours and licensure.
- Our 3000 Hour Club events are LOW COST for members!
- OC CAMFT member-to-member e-blasts!
- Member discounts toward OC CAMFT’s local workshops!
