Walkie Talkies

Event Details:
OC-CAMFT's meetup group that enjoys that natural beauty of walking trails that orange county has to offer. Wear comfortable shoes and hats, and bring water, sunscreen and snacks as needed. Our hikes will alternate, and this month we will be hiking/walking the Back Bay Loop Trail.
Trail:
Most of the trail is on a paved bike path though portions of the course are on paved streets; the trail is almost entirely flat with a couple of slight hills.
Note:
The portion of the trail along Dover and Irvine Ave. can be tricky; having an experienced pedestrian biker is a plus. We continued toward Upper Newport Bay Nature Reserve and curved around the Ecological Reserve, hopped on the Mountains to the Sea Trail & Bikeway, stopped at Vista Point and continued along the Newport Bay. There are several restrooms along the Back Bay Loop: Castaways Park, Mariners Park, the Interpretive Center, Newport Dunes, and within RV Park.
Parking: 4 entrances to park around the bay (parking is free, bonus!)
