BIO:
Nicole Arzt is an LMFT specializing in complex trauma and substance use disorders. She has a niche for treating other therapists and running therapist-based process groups in her private practice. Nicole draws from AEDP, psychodynamic, and attachment-based frameworks to emphasize attunement as a top priority. She is dedicated to offering dynamic, relational experiences oriented to helping her clients cultivate richer introspection and reconcile their challenging inner conflicts.
A sought-after keynote speaker, she has presented at numerous conferences nationwide and frequently speaks to new therapists on imposter syndrome, theoretical modality, career burnout, and navigating countertransference. Nicole is the bestselling author of Sometimes Therapy Is Awkward and For the Love of Therapy. A prominent mental health writer, she regularly contributes to several publications, including Psychology Today, WebMD, Forbes, Fortune 500, and The Today Show.
Nicole is the founder and owner of @psychotherapymemes, a global community with over 175,000 followers. Through humor and authenticity, she creates a space where therapists can find connection, validation, and a little lightness in this tender work.

Orange County Chapter of CAMFT is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (Provider #59405) to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs. Orange County Chapter of CAMFT maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content.
