Course Description:

Delving into the science behind ketamine assisted therapy and the different mental health modalities it helps treat. Also use of cutting edge treatments and overall collaboration between mental health care provider, patient and clinic.

Learning Objectives

After the session participants will be able to:

  • Name three mental health disorders that respond well to ketamine assisted therapy.
  • Describe the three participants who collaborate in the Care Team Approach and their roles.
  • Explain how virtual reality augments ketamine assisted therapy.

    • Orange County Chapter of CAMFT is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (Provider #59405) to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs.  Orange County Chapter of CAMFT maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content.

    ABOUT THE SPEAKER:



    Dr. Christopher Romig M.D., is the owner, founder and medical director of Ark Integrative Medicine and Therapeutics. He is a board certified anesthesiologist with 20 years of experience and more than 6 years of experience in the field of ketamine therapy.


    Originally from NC, he grew up outside Seattle and then return to NC to attend Duke university for his undergraduate degree then Medical school at The George Washington University School of medicine. He completed his Residency at the University of Washington and a fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesiology at Emory University.


    Dr. Romig opened his first ketamine clinic in 2016 in Laguna Beach. It was there he saw the marked difference that ketamine makes in patients lives.


    With a vision of a more holistic approach he left to create what is now Ark Integrative Medicine


    After extensive research Dr. Romig has created unique, cutting edge protocols that have much greater results than other ketamine treatments available, while also integrating additional holistic wellness treatments.

    • Course completion certificates will be award at the end of the program to those attendees who sign-in within 10 minutes of the commencement of the program, sign-out after the program is concluded, and complete and return an evaluation form.
