Event Description
Suicide rates have gone up in the last year with the impact of the pandemic, the media, politics and racial tensions. People are facing uncertainty with their relationships, finances, jobs and are turning to unhealthy outlets to cope. Participants will get an overview of how suicide is impacting our nation and learn the signs of a suicidal clients. They will learn to determine the level of risk and different interventions depending on such risks.

Presenter Bio
Jodi has many years of assessing and intervening in crisis since her internship, when she served on the Orange County PET team. Since that time, she has taught crisis intervention with Gerry Grossman Seminars, in University of Phoenix graduate program and currently works as a Clinical Manager of an inbound, clinical call center for Beacon Health Options, where she provides support and intervention assistance for her staff taking crisis calls.
