Meet Our Speaker

Michael W. Herrera is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has worked in the nonprofit world for the past 9 and half years working with underserved and disadvantage populations. Currently he serves as the Program Manager for CalWORKs Behavioral Health Services at Mariposa. Throughout the years he has provided extensive services with children, teens, adults, families and couples. Michael specializes in working with depression, anxiety, and trauma and has learned to utilize creative interventions to engage clients and help them understand and process information in a more meaningful way.
