My work starts by separating people from their problems. Together, we'll examine those problems in the context of family history, relationships and today's cultural expectations. I believe revealing what is genuinely important and meaningful to you, recognizing your possibilities and strengths, and breaking down obstacles is the path to solutions. I work with a diverse group of clients including teens, young adults, couples and families. I specialize in issues related to relationships, parenting, career stress, substance abuse, anxiety and depression (including postpartum). I also help type 1 diabetics and their families cope with the unique emotional effects of the disease.
