My work bridges the gap between behavioral therapies and depth-oriented approaches. Early in my career, while working in treatment centers, I trained extensively in modalities such as CBT, DBT, ERP, and ACT. Over time, I noticed that while behavioral tools are useful in managing symptoms, they often fall short in fostering deeper, lasting healing. This insight led me to study depth-oriented therapies—particularly Jungian psychology, psychoanalytic thought, and attachment theory—which deeply resonated with me and offered a missing layer of insight and transformation by taking into account a person's whole experience.
Today, I practice primarily from a depth-oriented framework, which means our work together goes beyond symptom management. We’ll explore emotional wounds, relational dynamics, and the underlying patterns that may be keeping you stuck. By engaging with your inner world from multiple angles, we create space for meaningful, sustainable change. With that said, I’ve found that many of my clients—especially teens, or those struggling with eating disorders or obsessive-compulsive patterns—benefit from an integrated approach. In these cases, we blend practical skills-building with deeper emotional exploration, supporting both immediate stability and long-term healing.
