HOW CAMFT MEMBERS CAN HELP

Below you will find local and statewide initiatives that are calling for mental health professionals to support front-line healthcare workers and first responders as well as the public at large during the COVID-19 crisis.  Please note:  OC CAMFT is not directly affiliated with any of these initiatives and is not responsible for their actions or  OC CAMFT member interactions with these organizations.

  • To prepare for the increased number of individuals who will need health care during COVID-19, California is opening additional health care sites and hiring additional licensed staff.

THROUGHOUT CALIFORNIA—THE COVID-19 WARM-LINE INITIATIVE

  • Warm-line offers support daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the COVID-19 crisis

THROUGHOUT CALIFORNIA—CA DISASTER HEALTHCARE VOLUNTEERS PROGRAM

  • Serve as a volunteer health professional during duly declared emergencies of disaster in California
  • Founded by the Emergency Medical Services Authority of California

  • Serving Military populations during COVID-19 and always
  • Currently experiencing shortages of providers in the San Diego and rural CA areas

OC CAMFT ONLY—THE COVID-19 PRO BONO COUNSELING PROJECT
