  1. What Child Abuse is and is not.
  2. What the Child Abuse categories are per the CA WIC.
  3. What the Mandated Reporter requirements are to report Child Abuse.
  4. What happens after a Child Abuse report is made.
  5. Numerous case examples for discussion and to learn from.

Presenter Bio:

David Zietz is a licensed MFT specializing in child abuse. He has worked for a governmental Child Protection Services agency since 1984. David has been qualified as an expert witness in Criminal and Juvenile Courts on child abuse matters. David currently is a Manager for the County of Orange at the Child Abuse Registry and Adult Protective Services Registry. David is the Chair-Person of the Southern California Counties Child Abuse Hotlines. David participates in many collaborative workgroups with community partners.
